Namaste! As world is opening up for travel, come 23 September 2022 and Bhutan will reopen its borders to the tourists without quarantine, after remaining shut for outsiders for more than two years due to the pandemic.
Simple living and high thinking is the mantra for the Bhutanese people. It is a nation that assigns statistical peg to its happiness (Gross National Happiness) and is delightfully cut off from Western influences. Also known as the ‘Last Shangri-La’, it is a small and predominantly Buddhist nation, tucked between India and China.
Stunning landscapes with 72% forested land, rich culture, CO2 negative clean and green environment, hilltop monasteries, vibrant local life, festivals and rich bio diversity makes it one of the most coveted destinations for the offbeat traveller.
