TREKKING

Nepal is one of the blessed countries to have varied altitudes and this variety makes it the second home for avid trekkers. Treks allow enjoying the inner core of nature and every year Nepal attracts a variety of trekkers to scale its beautiful peaks. These treks give a chance to discover the nature, flora and fauna and cultural diversity of Nepal. Amongst the long list of treks in Nepal with varying altitudes and grades, Everest and Annapurna region tops the list:

Everest Region (Solu Khumbu Region)

The Everest region hosts Mt. Everest, which is the highest mountain in the world.

PARAGLIDING

Insider Tip: Although there are numerous spots for paragliding in Nepal, but Pokhara valley is the best place to experience this activity. The best months for paragliding in Nepal are November and December, although the flight season begins from November and generally lasts through February.

ZIPLINE
Although a common sport, the zip line of Nepal stands out for being the tallest, longest, and fastest in the world.

RAFTING

There are numerous rivers in Nepal suitable for rafting like Trisuli, Marshyangdi, Kali Gandaki Karnali, Seti, Sunkoshi etc. spanning the length and breadth of the country and with varying grades of rapids, thus making the sport suitable for all levels of adventurers visiting here.

However due to its convenient location rafting on the Trishuli River is most sought after. One can have a choice to go for a rafting trip ranging from a day to two or three weeks in Nepal.

Insider Tip: The best time to go for rafting in Nepal is from October through mid-December and March to early May.

CANYONING
While canyoning is not meant for everybody, as it requires lots of fitness, it is an altogether different thrilling experience in Nepal.
